December 1, 2012 has been established as World Aids Day by the World Health Organization.

The most important thing that you can do to fight the AIDS is get tested.

An HIV infection in 2012 is not the death sentence it was over 30 years ago. There are HIV treatments that can help infected individuals live long and prosperous lives. The key is to know you are infected so you can both get the treatment you need to thrive despite the disease and prevent the transmission of the disease.
