Tell me why the two other big people in the house find it necessary to fight with The Boy.  It irritates the hell out of me to hear them telling him, “no, you can’t have the orange cup.  You don’t need it.  I got you the blue one so that is the one you are going to have.”  What is so difficult about putting the blue one back and getting out the orange one.  What will it hurt?

The Boy is 4 years old. He has a favorite cup, a favorite color, a special plate, and almost always wants his fork when he eats and a straw with every drink.  We all know this so, can we get through at least one day without someone being annoyed with The Boy for being four?

Damn it, let him have his way.
